I decided on a career in Chiropractic after receiving Chiropractic treatment for a knee and back injury, which I sustained playing Rugby in my teens. I was so impressed by the treatment I decided to study Chiropractic at university.
After graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Chiropractic, I worked for 7 years at a Chiropractic clinic in Milton Keynes, before setting up my own business. I am registered with the General Chiropractic
Council (GCC) and the British Chiropractic Association (BCA). I am also covered by all major private healthcare companies including BUPA and AXA.
Over the years in practice, I have also undertaken additional training in Focused Shockwave Therapy and Medical Acupuncture to offer the best possible package of care for my patients.
Every patient is unique and needs to be provided with an individual treatment plan. My treatment is designed to get the quickest results that last. As well as Chiropractic Manipulation or 'adjustments', I also uses a wide variety of other
techniques including soft tissue therapy, dry needling and ultrasound.
Rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modifications are very important to recovery. I encourage all my patients to take an active role in their treatment, as this gives the best long-term results.
Although back pain makes up the highest percentage of injuries I see in clinic, I also treat a wide variety of other joint and muscle conditions. I find working with patients with chronic long-term injuries most challenging and rewarding.
